Pembina Plum - Prunus nigra x salicina 'Pembina'

Large red skinned egg-shaped fruit with yellow sweet flesh. Ripens in late August. Excellent eating plum. Requires pollination. White blooms in spring. A South Dakota State experiment grounds introduction in 1917.
