Double Hot Pink™ Hydrangea is a compact mounding shrub. It features fully double blooms on powerful stems. Depending on the pH of the soil, flowers are pink rose or blue; lower pH (below 4.5) will give blue flowers. Reblooming from summer to fall. This hydrangea is a beautiful addition to any border or on the patio in containers. The large flowers are great as cut flowers.

Plant in well drained moist soil in a spot in partial sun: at least three ours of sun per day. No pruning is necessary, unless removing dead stems. Hydrangea macrophylla flowers on old wood, so if you do need to prune, the best time is in summer when flowerbus for the following year are not set yet. These flower buds are produced from August to October.
