Blueray Northern Highbush Blueberry - Vaccinium 'Blueray'
Blueray is an old favorite and versatile blueberry variety which performs particularly well in areas with hot summers or very cold winters. It produces high quality berries with outstanding dessert flavor. In spring bell shaped rosy pink flowers turn bright white when in full bloom. Flowers are followed by medium blue blueberries which ripen in mid-season. Dark green leaves turn attractive shades of red in fall. Reddish stems have better winter color than those of most other blueberry varieties.
