Frontenac Gris Grape - Vitis 'Frontenac Gris'

Frontenac Gris is a wine grape derived from the grape breeding program at the University of Minnesota. It is the white wine version of Frontenac. The vine exhibits the same optimum growth characteristics as Frontenac, and requires the same cultural practices. Arching canes and minimal tendrils provide easy training and pruning to simplify vine management.

Prefers a warm area with good air movement to minimize mildews. Water regularly as needed. Feed with all purpose fertilizer prior to new spring growth. Thin old growth and fruit stems from the previous year in early spring and train new growth along a trellis system or arbor.
