Pink Double Delight Coneflower - Echinacea Cone-fections™ 'Pink Double Delight'
'Pink Double Delight' is a selection that is very close to another coneflower named 'Razzmatazz' but is shorter with a more compact growth habit. Two foot tall plants produce a bounty of true bright pink flowers with pom-pom like centers. The 3 inch flowers are born on strong very well branched plants that stay in color all summer and into fall. Pink Double Delight is a very cheerful looking perennial and will brighten the day of any one who happens to pass by. Drought tolerant once established.
Easily grown in average, dry to medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. Best in full sun. This is an adaptable plant that is tolerant of drought, heat, humidity and poor soil. Divide clumps when they become overcrowded (about every 4 years). Plants usually rebloom without deadheading, however prompt removal of spent flowers improves general appearance.
