Weeping Blue Spruce - Picea pungens 'Pendula'

Unusual evergreen with attractive weeping branches with silvery blue needles. Lower branches may spread and act as a groundcover. The terminal leader needs to be staked when young to encourage height. Height and width will depend on how trained.

Prefers slightly acidic soil. If alkaline soil, topdress soil with aluminum sulfate to acidify soil and intensify the blue colour. Water regularly as needed. Feed in spring with an all purpose fertilizer. Little pruning is necessary. Prune broken or damaged limbs.
