Royal Purple/White Bee Delphinium - Delphinium elatum 'King Arthur'

Graceful perennial with deeply lobed green leaves and tall wiry stems with spikes of double royal purple blossoms with white bee blossoms in summer and into the fall. Great accent for the back of the border, good cut flowers. Toxic if eaten.

Prefer moist well-drained, fertile soil. Feed in early spring with a high phosphorous fertilizer prior to new growth. Cut to ground in fall to encourage compact new growth in spring. Remove spent spikes after blooming to promote new growth. CAUTION: Harmful if eaten.
