Fleshy Hawthorne - Crataegus succulenta

Growing about 20 ft. tall, this species has some of the largest fruits in the genus. This fruit, which matures in autumn, can be up to 1 3/4 inches in diameter. The bright red fruit has a sweet, juicy and pulpy flesh.
