Royal Gala Apple - Malus 'Royal Gala'

Rounded medium size with pronounced red stripes over a yellow orange undercolor, a distinctive variety. Firm crisp juicy white flesh. Slight spice flavor. Great for eating fresh, in baked treats, sauces, and in salads. Ripens early September. Introduction from New Zealand in 1960.
