Parkland Apple - Malus 'Parkland'

Yellow green fruit with red blush overlay. Creamy white flesh. Good for eating fresh and cooking, stores well. Hardy tree, highly rated for prairies. Ripens mid August. Tends to bear heavily biennially. Stores moderately well. A 1979 Morden Research Station, Manitoba introduction.

Water regularly as needed. Feed in spring with an all purpose fertilizer prior to new spring growth. When young, prune to create an open centred branching to allow for even light throughout the tree. This allows even ripening of fruit. Prune broken or damaged limbs.
