Northsky Blueberry - Vaccinium 'Northsky'

Small, very sweet, sky blue berries producing one to three pounds per plant. Self pollinating. Known as the hardiest of all blueberries. Bluish-green foliage turns bright red in fall. White flowers in spring. Great for smaller areas. Introduced by the University of Minnesota in 1983.

Prefers a moist, well drained, acidic soil for best results. Fertilize in spring just before new growth begins. Prune to remove broken or damaged limbs. Little pruning is necessary. The half-high blueberries are more compact and able to withstand the snow loads of colder climates.
