HGTV™ Clematis Shine on Violet™ - Clematis x Vancouver™ Deborah Dahl

New for 2016. Shine on Violet™ has large lavender flowers with red stamens in late spring and again in the fall. This variety requires little pruning and will adorn your garden with flowers in late spring/early summer then again in fall. It can be enjoyed in a large container, climbing an arbor, or scrambling through a small tree or large shrub. This variety is bred in Canada by Clearview Horticultural Products.

Prune lightly in late February or March with some variation in the length of the stems. This will help produce a well balanced group B plant. Any weak or dead wood should be removed at this time and a careful spacing of the remaining stems is all that is required.
