Medium size, bright red fruit with white crispy, juicy, aromatic flesh and a distinctive flavor. Hardy Apple for eating fresh or baking. Ripens mid-September. Stores moderately well. A selection of the historical McIntosh Apple found in Calgary, Alberta in 1992.

Water regularly as needed. Feed in spring with an all purpose fertilizer prior to new spring growth. When young, prune to create an open centred branching to allow for even light throughout the tree. This allows even ripening of fruit. Prune broken or damaged limbs.
