Suncrest Peach - Prunus persica 'Suncrest'

A large freestone peach with uniform red coloring over gold. Excellent firm yelow juicy flesh. Highly rated for flavor. Good shipping characteristics make this a good commercial variety. Ripens in early September. Showy pink flowers in spring. Self pollinating.

Prefers well drained soils. Water regularly as needed. Feed in spring with an all purpose fertilizer prior to new spring growth. Prune when young to create an open branching structure that allows for even light distribution and more consistent ripening of fruit.
