Large dark red heart-shaped fruit with dark red sweet flesh. Ripens in late August. Great for eating fresh, canning, preserves or jellies. Requires pollination from other European plums (Prunus domestica) varieties.

Prefers well drained soils. Water regularly as needed. Feed in spring with an all purpose fertilizer prior to new spring growth. Prune when young to create an open branching structure that allows for even light distribution and more consistent ripening of fruit.
